KATY Perry handed out gold dust briefs to her SSE Hydro show to teenagers 'drinking' at the River Clyde.

The American superstar gave the group of teens a shout-out at her Glasgow gig on Sunday night after meeting them earlier on in the day.

Perry, 33, cycled around the city before her show to the shock of sunbathers enjoying soaring temperatures at the River Clyde.

She told the audience at the SSE Hydro that she spotted the group of kids at the famous waterfront.

She joked: "I said who can I talk to. I actually asked, 'who is your leader?'

"This guy, who was 15 years old, came up and he had tattoos all over himself.

"You know, damn we are Scotland's finest.

"They were just a bunch of different kids having a great time, maybe they were drinking a little bit by the river.

"But I said, 'hey do you want to come to a show tonight?'

"And they are here."

She then screamed: "Scotland's finest."

The California Girls singer also visited Taco Bell and the Glasgow Quay to watch a movie on Saturday night before the show.
