NEW properties at an historic Glasgow residential development in the prestigious Park Circus area have been released after the first phase sold out.

It comes amid unprecedented demand for the luxury properties at Park Quadrant Residencies.

Almost 1,500 buyer enquiries have been made since the homes were put up for sale last August.

The release of the next phase of the development has now been accelerated as a result.

The development has been appealing to a wide range of buyers from Glasgow and beyond, who are attracted to the high end, spacious homes which “fuse contemporary luxury with the scale and proportions of more traditional properties in a desirable city location,” developers said.

Downsizers, first time buyers, investors and those relocating to Scotland’s biggest city are all among the buyers to secure the first 40 homes released for sale.

Park Quadrant Residences will complete the original concentric ringed design set out in the 19th century masterplan for the area, envisioned by architect Charles Wilson in 1851.

The development features a collection of 98 apartments, duplexes and penthouses.

It is designed to be sympathetic to the area’s rich heritage, with its high-quality architecture often heralded as the finest example of Victorian townscape in the city.

The exterior of the 11 buildings reflect the grandeur of the era in which they were imagined, while the interiors combine classic and contemporary design.

The latest release of homes showcases an extensive selection of properties including two and three-bedroom apartments.

There are also spacious two, three and four-bedroom duplexes, set over two levels with private gardens to the front and private terraces to the rear.

Penthouses are also available which span the entire floor of each block and boast breathtaking views from outdoor roof terraces.

Gordon Coster, director at Ambassador Developments Park Quadrant Limited, said: “We are very proud to be completing this missing piece in Glasgow’s history.
