YOUR WELFARE

Your safety is TRNSMT's number one priority.

Look after yourself and your mates – always be in trusted company.

Check the weather beforehand and be prepared – apply sun cream if it’s hot, and wear appropriate clothes for rain and sunshine.

Eat – Have a good meal before you go out and eat regularly throughout the day

Hydrate – Drink about half a pint of water (or up to a pint if it’s hot weather) every hour and never leave drinks unattended. It’s equally as important not to over hydrate. There are free water points at the bars.

Rest – Make sure you get enough rest the night before and take breaks, especially if the weather is hot.

Pace yourself – space out alcoholic drinks with juice or water and know your limits. Check out drinkaware.co.uk for more info.

Illegal drugs and herbal/legal highs are not permitted at TRNSMT, don’t bring them onsite. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be handed over to the police.

Festivals are not the best place to experiment – large crowds can be overwhelming.

Avoid mixing – mixing drugs, including alcohol and medicines, puts you at risk of an overdose.

If you or a friend feel unwell at any point, please visit the welfare areas.

Drugs and alcohol can lower inhibitions but it is your responsibility to make sure any prospective partners are able to give consent to any sexual contact.

Look after your hearing, take regular breaks from loud music and don’t stand too close to the speakers. Earplugs are available from the welfare tent.

KEEP YOUR BELONGINGS SAFE

You’ll need your ticket at all times – wristbands won’t be distributed to those with a general admission ticket, so please look after it and keep it safe and dry.

Bring only what you need – there will be ATMs available and outlets will take cards.

Cigarettes will not be available for purchase on site on the second weekend.

SECURITY & DELAYS

Expect queues and searches on entry and please be patient. Arrive in plenty of time before gates open.

Don’t take a bag unless it’s essential. If you do take a bag, you will be asked to join a separate line for searching and you will be delayed. Bags bigger than an A3 sheet won’t be permitted.

There will be a significant security and police presence, including armed police. The stewards are there to help you.

There are two entrances to the site – east and west. If you need to collect a pre-purchased ticket, you can collect from the east or west entrances.

VIP wristband must be collected from the east entrance

If you have a guardianship form or accessible ticket, please use the east entrance.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not allowed on site: Flares, fireworks or smoke emitting devices, drugs, bags bigger than A3 size, weapons, umbrellas, drones, professional cameras or cameras with removable lens, glass, folding or inflatable chairs, laser pens, selfie sticks.

PACK ESSENTIALS

Remember any mediation you might need, including prescriptions, inhalers and diabetic medicines. If your medication is not easily recognisable, please bring a prescription or doctors note.

RESPECT THE NEIGHBOURS

Remember the Green is surrounded by residents and TRNSMT really appreciates the support of the local people. Please be respectful of this and keep noise to a minimum when entering and leaving the site.
