Melville was spotted leaving his home in Dalmuir

“He was reported missing to police yesterday, however nobody has heard or seen him since Monday, June 11. He has gone missing before, however never for this length of time.

“We are keeping an open mind as to Melville's whereabouts and officers are considering whether he is in the local area, or whether he has travelled elsewhere.

“He has a travel pass and we are working with bus and rail companies, as well as checking CCTV, in an effort to trace him.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen him in the Clydebank area, or indeed on a bus or train, to please come forward and provide us with that information.

“We would also appeal to Melville himself to get in touch and let us or his family know he is okay.”

Anyone with information should contact Police on 101 quoting incident number 2022 of Monday, June 25.
