IT’S the hottest day in over 20 years and Tennent’s Lager has officially reached maximum farenpint.
Over the last few days and for the rest of the week, it’s making surprise drops of ice-cold cans to folk in the heat, including lucky punters on Portobello beach and sweltering office workers.
Tomorrow, when things reach a distinctly chilly 17 degrees, they’ll be out again in force at unexpected locations.
Rhona Fyfe, brand manager at Tennent’s Lager, said: “Today’s been a scorcher, and there are few things that go better with the sun than an ice cold can, so we wanted to help people make the most of the heatwave.”
Sampling: Samples will only be available to over 18s, challenge 25 will be in operation, strictly only one can will be available per person and no samples will be provided to those under the influence.
