SCOTTISH football has changed almost unrecognisably over the last 90 years but one thing has remained constant.

Clubs have come and gone, some great teams have been created, dominated then waned, stars have shone and others have crashed spectacularly but though out it all the fans companion, the Evening Times Wee Red Book, has been there to record it all.

Since 1928, when the Scottish League included Third Lanark in the top flight and long-gone names from the senior game like St Bernard’s Leith Athletic and Bo’ness, the Wee Red Book has been there to document each season.

The special 90th anniversary edition includes every fixture for all four SPFL divisions for the coming season, so you can plan your year around your clubs matches.

It includes a page of facts and figures for each of the 42 league clubs.

And it is packed with information from the history of Scottish football and beyond.

What was the score in the 1921 Scottish Cup Final? It is in the Wee Red Book. Want to know who was the Scottish Football Writers Association Player of the Year in 1981? It’s in the Wee Red Book. Or even the SPFA Player of the Year from 2002? Look it up in the Wee Red Book.

Every game played by Scottish clubs in European competition is documented. From Hibernian’s pioneering 4-0 win over Rot Weiss Essen in 1955/56 in the European Cup, to Celtic, Aberdeen, Rangers and St Johnstone’s exploits last season, every match, score and scorers is included.

From the world’s most powerful man to the world’s most famous mascot, a picture with the encyclopedia of Scottish football facts is a must have for everyone who is anyone ont eh global stage.

Over the years managers, top players and even politicians including former Prime Minster David Cameron have been photographed with the Wee Red Book.

If he wants to brush up on Aston Villa he can find their seven FA Cups and one European Cup triumph in the book so he doesn’t get them confused with West Ham’s three FA Cup wins.

While on the road to global stardom, Partick Thistle mascot, Kingsley also showed off his copy.
