A PORT Glasgow resident says she's fed up with fly-tippers ruining a beauty spot behind her house.
Karla Blair says she used to enjoy taking in the countryside view at the back of her property in Slaemuir Avenue.
But the 37-year-old says it's now being ruined by selfish fly-tippers who keep dumping rubbish in the field and jeopardising the animals grazing there, reports the Greenock Telegraph.
She said: "The latest fly-tipping must've happened over the last couple of days.
"There's two bags of waste and it's a shame as the cows start eating the stuff.
"I saw one of the cows eating a quilt and I thought it was going to choke on it.
"I saw another cow eating a plastic bottle.
"It makes me angry.
"It's not nice to look at and it's also dangerous for the animals too.
"Why do they have to spoil such a beautiful place?
"It's disgraceful."
Karla says this is not the first case of fly-tipping on the land.
She said: "There was a glass shower screen dumped last year and one of the cows ended up with a badly cut hoof.
"Something has to be done about it."
Karla, who says she will alert the farmer about the fly-tipping, has also reported it to the Zero Waste Scotland 'Dumb Dumpers' hotline.
Anyone who would like to report fly-tipping can do so by phoning 0845 230 4090.
