Glasgow’s biggest ever Pride weekend provided a colourful backdrop to the city, with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon leading the march.
The SNP leader was at the front of Saturday’s march which is said to have had more than 12,000 people take part.
Pride is both a protest and celebration, highlighting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex culture and pride, as well as serving as a demonstration for legal rights.
The coming together continued into Sunday, with a positive atmosphere in the air despite issues around ticketing at the Pride Glasgow event at Kelvingrove Park.
Organisers have since apologised after hundreds of ticket-holders were turned away on Saturday after queuing for an hour in searing heat.
Some tickets cost as much as £45, with many online criticising the cost involved to attend the Kelvingrove events.
However, organisers said interest in the parade had “far exceeded our expectations”, causing problems.
