BRITISH Transport Police will descend on Glasgow Central to discuss mental health with rail passengers.

From 1pm to 4pm today, BTP will join forced with See Me Scotland and Breathing Space to talk about mental health and well being with those travelling through the bustling station.

The officers will be on hand to have a chat or to "just say hello" to passengers on their commutes.

In a tweet, BTP said: "@BTPWestScot officers will be in @NetworkRailGLC today for a #MentalHealth Well Being event with our friends @seemescotland & #breathingspace between 1 & 4 - come over and have a chat or just say ‘hello'."
