FAMILIES will rock and stroll at Mugdock Park's MugStock festival.

Hundreds of people will flock to the East Dunbartonshire site to enjoy a range of live music, fun, food and performances.

The boutique event, which is managed and run by volunteers, takes place from July 27 to 30 with acts including Roddy Woomble, The Showhawk Duo, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Kid Canaveral, Tide Lines, The Girobabies and the Trongate Rum Riots.

Councillor Billy Hendry, Convener of the Council’s Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee, said: “Helping to host festivals such as MugStock is a real benefit to East Dunbartonshire – attracting visitors, boosting the local economy and showcasing one of the many assets in our local area.
