His worried brother, from Bishopbriggs, said: "My brother was last seen last night after the game at Macedonia Square, however, he has not been in contact since.

"We were due to fly home this morning and still he has not been in contact or active on any form of social media and it appears his phone has ran out of battery.

"He was last seen wearing a blue CR Smith Rangers top, If anyone sees or hears from him could you let me know."

Connor told the Evening Times that the family contacted the British Embassy in a bid to find missing James.

But now he has been found safe and well.

Connor said "James has just been in contact and is now travelling home. Cheers for all your help."

Rangers were playing Macedonian side Shkupi last night for the UEFA Europa League.
