IT'S a summer garden in the heart of the city.

Princes Square’s popular summer garden, first launched last year, returns today to provide visitors to Glasgow with a special indoor sanctuary to relax and unwind.

The premier fashion and lifestyle destination will see its iconic courtyard brought to life with grass, blossom trees and a bandstand that will host ‘Live on the Lawn’, a series of musical performances.

The Summer Sanctuary will be open during centre opening hours from today until July 29.

Musical performances and a pop-up bar hosted by gin distillers Eden Mill will happen each day between today and Sunday and between July 27 and 29.

Katie Moody from Princes Square said: “Princes Square’s unique environment is already well known and enjoyed by visitors to Glasgow’s city centre and the addition of our summer garden makes it even more special.

"Our Summer Sanctuary offers a piece of tranquillity and serenity right in the heart of Glasgow and this year we will also be hosting ‘Live on the Lawn’ musical performances from local musicians to add to the enjoyment.”

The Square has over 25 retailers and 13 eateries.
