Travel advice:

The M74 between junction 5 and 6, A725 Bellshill Bypass and A723 Hamilton Road are expected to be busier than usual as a result of the rowing event taking place at Strathclyde Country Park.

Local bus services on Tollcross Road and Shettleston Road are likely to be busier than usual today as a result of the swimming events at Tollcross International Swimming Centre. Plan ahead and consider the time you travel.

Glasgow Times:

Road closures will be in place between Bothwellhaugh Road and A723 Hamilton Road as a result of the rowing event at Strathclyde Country Park. Consider alternative routes.
