TWO men are still in hospital after being stabbed during a mass brawl ahead of the Rangers and Osijek Europa League clash.

Eyewitnesses watched in horror last night as the running battle took over a section of Govan.

Police Scotland said two men, aged 24 and 40, were injured and taken from outside Ibrox Stadium to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

As told by the Evening Times last night, football fans were seen running through the streets with one holding a flare.

Police on horseback lined Paisley Road West and Edmiston Drive while footage on Twitter showed a man being kicked as he lay on the ground.

Detective Inspector Steven Wallace said: "This type of violent behaviour will not be tolerated and it is absolutely vital anyone with information that could assist with our investigation comes forward.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed a disturbance, particularly anyone with mobile phone or dash-cam footage, to get in touch."
