KIND-HEARTED musicians will step out on stage for a good cause this October.
Glasgow's Anton & The Colts will bring a stripped-back version of their bangin' blues to Stereo within the City Centre for a charity gig.
The Spyres, Facendo Cose and James Edwyn & The Borrowed Band will also perform at the event.
All money raised on the night will be donated to Alzheimer Scotland.
Alzheimer Scotland provides a wide range of specialist services for people with dementia and their carers. The registered charity offers personalised support services, community activities, and information and advice at every stage of the dementia journey.
The gig’s organiser, Alistair Fleming, told the Evening Times that the charity was close to his heart.
He said: “My dad had dementia and my mum is living in an Alzheimer Scotland residential home in the East End of Glasgow.
“This is the only home of its kind in Scotland. It has eight self-contained apartments, giving my mum a safe and secure environment to live in at 92.”
The gig will take place at Stereo in Renfield Lane on Saturday, October 13. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £9 and are available online via stereocafebar.com or at the door on the night.
