GLASGOW Life users have been warned not to open an email which has been distributed by the city firm.
The email contains an attachment which claims to a spreadsheet for a "new project".
However, it is thought the link could in fact be a virus or malware set to invade members' devices if opened.
Glasgow Life confirmed they were aware of the issue and had taken to steps to resolve it.

It is not yet known how the incident occurred but a spokesman for the firm insisted no customer data was involved.
The email which was distributed
He said: “We have been made aware of an instance of spamming.
"Our IT provider immediately responded and at no time was customer data involved.”

A spokesman for CGI, which provides ICT services for Glasgow Life, added: “This spamming incident was identified from a third party email and remediated within an hour of us being made aware of it.
"Everyone should be aware of the increase in so-called phishing instances and be very cautious when opening emails and attachments which they are not expecting.
"In this instance, no customer data was involved.”
