FOUR youths have been arrested following an alleged large scale disturbance in Glasgow's East End.

Police rushed to Carntyne Road around 6pm on Saturday to reports of an incident involving a group of youngsters.

The disturbance then spilled into Cranhill Park.

Several people, including a pregnant woman, are reported to have been injured, according to STV.

A police spokeswoman confirmed a further three young people are due to be reported to the procurator fiscal.

She said: "Around 6pm on Saturday, police were called to a disturbance involving a large group of youths in Carntyne Road which then moved to Cranhill Park.

"Four youths have been arrested and another three are due to be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the disturbance."
