ARMED police have been called to an incident in Airdrie in North Lanarkshire.
A police helicopter and an ambulance were at the scene on Gartness Drive.
Emergency services were called shortly after 8pm.
An eyewitness told the Evening Times there were eight police cars at the scene while local roads are cordoned off.
