A Scots girl has gone viral after sharing a touching video of a surprise visit from her dad.
Gemma Mason, a talented performing arts student, posted the emotional video to her social media on Friday.
The clip shows the Ayrshire girl being surprised by her family down in London, where she is in her third year at Italia Conti performing arts school.
After being given hugs and cards from family members, Gemma is surprised by an appearance from her dad, prompting her to burst into tears.

The post explains: "This time last year my dad fell very ill with a brain haemorrhage and we were told he wasn't going to make it.
"Well look at him now, he’s come all the way to London to surprise me and to see me in my last 3rd year production.
"I hope I have made you half as proud as u make me everyday."

Dad Robin Mason shared the video, adding: "Appreciate all the lovely comments so glad i made the trip to see my girl living her dream, it could have all been so different for our family."
