Blythswood Square
A CITY centre hotel was evacuated earlier today.
A large group of people were pictured gathered outside the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel around 2.55pm.
Two fire engines were also on the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed one appliance responded to reports of an activated alarm signal, but this was a false alarm.
