A CLYDEBANK hospital worker received a warm send-off as he retired after over two decades in the town.

Tom Cumming said a fond farewell to his colleagues in the Theatres team at the NHS Golden Jubilee yesterday after 21 years.

Staff at the hospital thanked Tom for his dedication over the years and said he'll "always be a part of team Jubilee".

A statement reads: "Yesterday staff in our Theatres said a fond farewell to long-serving colleague Tom Cumming, who retired after 21 years with us.

"Thank you for your dedicated service Tom, you'll always be part of team Jubilee."

Bankies shared their well wishes in the comments.

One person said: "Gutted I missed your last day Tom. It's been a pleasure working with you over the years.

"Enjoy your retirement."

A second added: "Happy retirement, Tam! Finally, time to put your feet up! All the best in your new chapter."

A third commented: "Good luck Tom, enjoy every minute of your retirement."
