Scotland’s biggest live comedy experience is touring across the country this spring including two dates in Glasgow.

Represented by the original Scottish home of live comedy, Gilded Balloon, The Big Fab Comedy Show will feature TV comedians and countrywide rising stars.

Spanning cities and towns from Inverness to Edinburgh, Stirling to Glasgow, the line-up comprises comedians including Larry Dean, Maisie Adam, Fred MacAulay, Shaparak Khorsandi, Jay Lafferty, Krystal Evans and Marc Jennings.

The show will be coming to Glasgow on April 18 and May 19 at Saint Luke’s, with Chris Forbes, Fred MacAulay, Eleanor Morton, Krystal Evans and Eshaan Akbar performing in April and Jay Lafferty, Larry Dean, Sam Lake, Stephen Buchanan and Josie Long performing in May.

Maisie Adam, often seen on Live at The Apollo, A League of their Own, and Mock The Week, said: "I'm so excited to head back to Scotland for The Big Fab Comedy Show this year and play some shows in places I've never been to before.

"These shows have a brilliant line-up so I can't wait to get out on the road and perform some new material."

Larry Dean will be the highlight of the final spring fling in May, headlining shows in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Largs, Galashiels, and his hometown Glasgow alongside Jay Lafferty as the host.

Mr Dean, a regular face on TV shows, will be joined by Josie Long, Lauren Pattison, Stephen Buchanan and Sam Lake.

He said: "Buzzin' for this tour. On with very funny comedians at lovely venues, and most of the gigs are only an hour away from home."

Fred MacAulay added: "It's great to be heading out on the road with some brilliant comics this spring for The Big Fab Comedy Show.

"I'm particularly looking forward to playing a gig just down the road from me in Glasgow before we head north to Stirling and Inverness - the shows are guaranteed to give you a good laugh so I'll see you there."

Debuting in 2023, the show has brought comics like Susie McCabe, Catherine Bohart, Marjolein Robertson, and many more to various towns and cities across Scotland.

The project is the feather in the cap for Gilded Balloon, known for launching many names in comedy today, considering The Big Fab Comedy Show to be their largest-scale production in recent years.
