An East Kilbride mum has suddenly died after suffering an “unexpected” brain bleed.

Hazel Crosbie Lang passed away on Saturday, February 17 “within hours” of her becoming ill.

The 38-year-old’s loved ones have been left completely shocked by the devastating loss.

She is being remembered as “one in a million” and a “devoted mum” to her three children Brooke, Dylan, and Josh.

The Glasgow Times has been given permission to share a JustGiving page in her memory to give her the “send off she deserves”.

The JustGiving page reads: “Hazel Lang (Crosbie) has sadly passed away very suddenly on February 17 after an unexpected bleed in her brain which was so severe it took her life within a matter of hours.

“Hazel was a devoted mum to Brooke, Dylan and Josh and anyone that knew her knew how much her family meant to her.

“Her friends and family knew her as the life and soul of the party, a truly caring person who can only be described as one in a million.

“She was only 38 and has been taken from this world far too soon leaving behind a devastated family.

“There's nothing in this world we can do to bring her back or ease the pain of her loved ones.

“However, if anyone is able to give any small contribution at all to help towards the unexpected financial burden her family are facing to try and give this amazing woman the send off she deserved they would be eternally grateful.

“Hazel will never be forgotten, with her legacy living on through her beautiful children.

“Her family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and generosity during their time of grieving.

“Hazel Lang we will all love you forever and will never be able to fill the hole in our hearts.”
