A Ceredigion arts trail will take place later this month.

The trail will showcase art from a number of Ceredigion artists at Aberystwyth's Bandstand over the Bank Holiday.

The Ceredigion Art & Craft Trail’s inaugural 2024 show will run from Friday, May 24 to Monday, May 27, from 9.30am to 6pm each day.

The picturesque Bandstand on the promenade will play host to 13 artists and makers.

Original artwork, marbling, ceramics, textile work, poetry, cards and much more will be featured, portraying the breadth of creativity in Ceredigion.

Participating artists and makers include Jo Swannell, Kevin Pearse, Gary Hiscott, Mary Herbert, Ag Cain, Sarah Jones, and Samantha Boulanger.

Writer Chris Armstrong will present poetry and fiction.

The textile field will be represented by Wendy Jones - Iar Fach yr Haf, and Jennifer Baxter along with Samantha Boulanger offering textiles and upcycling.

For lovers of ceramics, Jeni Pain – Shed by the Stream, and Jamie and Dodie Herschel - Nanytfelin Pottery will showcase their work.

Marbling and Jewellery will be shown by Jude Riley.

The popular annual Ceredigion Art and Craft Trail follows, starting on August 10 through August 16, when artists and makers across Ceredigion will open their studios to greet visitors.
