ALMOST 10,000 people in parts of East Renfrewshire are benefitting from a £2.5million water project.
Scottish Water has finished a scheme to upgrade infrustructure in Neilston, Uplawmoor and parts of Barrhead.
The move has led to changing the water supply the Neilston Water Treatment Works (WTW) to the Milngavie WTW.
Following completion of the project, Neilston WTW is due to be decommissioned.
