A CHARITY is battling to raise £2000 by Monday to fly an orphaned baby to Glasgow for burns treatment.
Three month-old Mohammad Sudais suffered third degree burns to his face and body after a gas explosion in his parents' home in Peshawar, Pakistan.
His mother, father and 13-month-old brother, Abdul Haseeb, all died in the explosion.
The baby's only relative in Glasgow is Mohammad Asif, General Secretary of the Scottish Afghan Society.
Positive Action in Housing, led by director Robina Qureshi, is trying to raise £2000 to fly the boy to Glasgow for treatment.
She said: "Asif is desperate to bring his orphaned nephew for treatment at the Royal Infimary and we are trying to raise £2000 to bring him over."
