THREE men have been arrested after allegedly barricading themselves in a house and threatening police with weapons.
Officers were called to the house in Old Glasgow Road, Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, at around 7.45am yesterday.
The ambulance service had informed officers of a report of a man having been bitten by a dog and a disturbance at the property, Police Scotland said.
When they got there, a police officer was allegedly assaulted and three men barricaded themselves within the property and threatened police.
Three men, aged 21, 22 and 38, are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
