Glasgow has caught the cycling bug.
Almost 3000 tickets have already been sold for round four of the Revolution Series competition on February 2 in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
It will be the first time the event has been staged outside Manchester.
Glasgow Life chairman Archie Graham said: "The UCI World Cup announced the city's arrival on the international track cycling circuit in front of a capacity crowd in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
"The Revolution series will again see some of the world's top cyclists go for glory."
