Groups ranged from Balornock East Residents Association - given £4940 to expand their youth project - to a cycle club, Free Wheel North, which was given £9875 for a mental health cycle club at Pinkston Paddlesport Centre, and £4320 to Glasgow and District Beekeepers Association to help members learn about the best wax processing and keep up to date with food legislation.

Kelvingrove Community Tennis Club was given £10,000 to help them run a year long programme for people with learning disabilities. Pocket Circus was given £10,000 to fund circus skills workshops for eight to 18-year-olds in north and south Glasgow, and Southside Judo was given £7000 to train two staff in sign language and buy mats for their Drumoyne venue.

The cash was handed out as part of the Awards for All Scotland scheme, a partnership by sportscotland and the Big Lottery Fund.
