City councillors have agreed in principle that 1600 houses can be built on a 420 acre site at Robroyston.

Developer Stewart Milne also wants to build a hotel, shops, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, healthcare and community facilities, a motorway underpass, a new railway station and park-and-ride facilities.
