FIVE hundred comedy fans enjoyed plenty of laughs when they met their hero in Glasgow.

One lucky teenager even dressed as a lookalike when Keith Lemon, alias entertainer Leigh Francis, signed copies of his new book, Being Keith, in WH Smith, Argyle Street.

Dylan Bolton, 14, from Dumbarton, so impressed the Celebrity Juice presenter that Keith exchanged places with him and asked the youngster to sign the book.

Dylan, who was dressed in leopard print leggings and a blond wig, said: "He was so funny and said my outfit was brilliant."

Keith made a big entrance, jumping into view of the cheering crowd and warning anyone with a cold sore 'no kissing'.

The book by the ITV2 comedy panel game show host shares the juiciest parts of his life from the last five years.

Keith, who is famous for his bleached mullet, fake tan and ginger moustache, appeared in episodes of comedy series Bo' Selecta! and now presents Celebrity Juice with Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.

Natalie McElwain, 36, from Lambhill, rushed out of an exam on her childcare course at North Glasgow College to make the signing session.

She was wearing a Keith Lemon mask, which she got signed along with her book.

Natalie said: "I had an exam today and I couldn't concentrate.

"He just makes me laugh so much, I would marry him. Even if you offered me George Clooney, I would go for Keith Lemon.

"I can't believe I met him – I told him I love him so much."

Brian Altman, 50, from Queen's Park, presented Keith with a letter asking if Keith could arrange for him to interview Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning because, he said, they are always interviewers and not interviewees.

He said: "I am a big fan. Watching Keith is like live TV and you don't know what will happen next."
