WHAT a rip-off! Today we have tried to buy four tickets for the forthcoming show at the Trafford Centre.
Our first attempt was via the on-line site. The booking fee for a top price ticket is £5.50 per ticket. Feeling very unhappy with this we rang the Trafford Centre to inquire about the booking office hours, to be told that even if we went in person to the ticket office, we would still be charged a booking fee per ticket.
What on earth is the purpose of a booking office if it does not sell tickets at face value?
We have decided to give this event a miss and treat ourselves to a meal at the Egerton House Hotel instead.
Perhaps the large availability of tickets reflects the view of the general public that we do not enjoy being ripped off in this way.
