DOWNTON made it seven games unbeaten with a 3-1 home win over fellow promotion challengers Fleet Spurs.

Ben Cross’ excellent pass was finished by Kev Thick for the equaliser on the stroke of half time.

Downton took the lead on the hour through Ben Halski, and Declan McGregor set up Thick for his second and the Robins’ third with 15 minutes to go.

Crittenden received his second yellow card just before the end.

“We are looking like we can score goals at any time at the moment,” said manager Jeff Softley.

“We are very solid at the back too but if we do concede there’s no need to panic.

“That’s seven games unbeaten, and we have won our last six home league games.”

Wednesday’s fixture at Hythe & Dibden was rained off.

Downton go to AFC Portchester on Saturday.

*The reserves’ game at Poole Town was postponed at the weekend. They welcome Blackfield & Langley this Saturday.
