MODELS in their best threads paraded down the catwalk to raise funds for a Weymouth school.
More than 150 parents and children turned out to support the Holy Trinity School fashion show.
Staff, parents, and 20 schoolchildren, modelled clothes provided by JAS Fashions.
Holy Trinity headteacher Mark Cheesley compered the evening, complemented by three male teachers who served drinks and escorted the female models for their final twirl.
A spokesman for the school’s Friends PTA, which organised the event, said: “A fabulous and entertaining evening was enjoyed by all, and more than £700 was raised from ticket sales, a raffle and commission from clothes sales. Our thanks go to Jane Macleod and Kay Robinson who organised the event on behalf of the Friends PTA and to JAS Fashions.
“The proceeds will be used to support the work of the school, providing extra equipment to teachers and the children.”
Anyone interested in helping the Friends PTA at future events should contact the school on 01305 783200.
