The passengers of a car escaped unhurt after it flipped onto its roof on the outskirts of Darlington.
The car came off the westbound carriageway of A66 Darlington bypass near Morton Park at about 9pm tonight.
The emergency services were called but the three passengers had pulled themselves from the car by the time fire crew could arrive.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
