Pupils at Shrewsbury Lodge School in Milbourne Lane, Esher, spent their half term designing a kitchen garden for the school.
The activity was organised by year 1 teacher Linda Reading, who is also in charge of the after school Green Fingers Club.
The school, which educates pupils aged three to seven, said it hoped to incorporate as many of the children’s ideas as possible into the new garden.
Headteacher Gill Hope said: “We have been so impressed by the plans and ideas that the children have returned with. They are clearly inspired by the idea of creating a kitchen garden and are thoroughly looking forward to their involvement with it.”
