Hundreds of animals without a home this Christmas are being cared for in charity centres.
More than 600 are being looked after at SSPCA centres across Scotland.
The charity does not allow pets to be rehomed at this time of year over fears they will be abandoned. People can visit centres and reserve an animal to collect on January 3.
