COMMUTERS faced rush-hour chaos when six cars and a van crashed into each other on a motorway.
It happened on the M80 northbound between Jct 5 (Auchenkilns/A73) and Jct 6 (Dullatur /Old Inns).
Only one person was injured in the collision, which happened shortly before 5pm.
A police spokeswoman said the woman sustained a minor injury to her ankle.
However, drivers faced major delays as traffic tailed back all the way to the M73 near Mollinsburn.
One driver, who was travelling from Glasgow to Bonnybridge, near Falkirk, said: "I came off the motorway to try and get away and all I could see was a long line of cars."
