RETAILER A1 Toys donated more than £500 worth of stock to the appeal.
The firm, which has stores in Glasgow's Parnie Street, Silverburn and Braehead, wanted to help after hearing about the Spirit Aid collection.
They gave the collection around 30 Spiderman masks and My Little Pony dolls.
Greig Fraser, one of the managers of A1 Toys, said: "We were told about the appeal by a member of the Herald and Times staff and we thought it was a great idea.
"Toys is what we do so we wanted to give something back.
"We regularly take part in charity drives so anything we can help with we will."
