ACTRESS Joanna Lumley will help build a "giant cairn of friendship with Scotland" on the border with England.
The Absolutely Fabulous star will be joined by volunteers on Thursday to help build The Auld Acquaintance Cairn, at Gretna.
Rory Stewart, MP for Penrith and the Borders, had called for it as a "gesture of love and respect" prior to the Scottish referendum.
People are now being invited to add their own stones to the cairn as a "visible marker of the union".
The cairn is located at junction 45 north on the M6, at Gretna.
