Those who applied for tickets in the first ticketing phase and did not get any will have exclusive access to remaining tickets when the sale period opens at 10am on Monday, October 21.
More than 2.3million people applied when the one million tickets first went on sale and many sports sold out, including track cycling and swimming.
Now the remaining tickets, including rugby sevens, badminton and weightlifting, will go on sale for one-week, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Monday and Tuesday will be exclusively for people who failed to get any tickets in the first round.
Later, people who got some tickets will be able to buy more and all previous applicants will then gain access until Saturday 26.
