An Independent councillor has become the latest politician to join the Scottish Green Party.
North Lanarkshire councillor Frances McGlinchey intends to continue to sit as an Independent member for Strathkelvin.
Ms McGlinchey left the SNP in 2012 after the party's decision to endorse Scotland's membership of Nato in the event of independence.
Her husband, Independent MSP for Central Scotland John Wilson, quit the party after the referendum for the same reason and has since also joined the Scottish Greens.
In October, fellow former SNP politician John Finnie signed up for the Greens.
Ms McGlinchey said: "I have always believed in social justice and protection of the environment. I am a CND activist committed to ridding Scotland of nuclear weapons of mass destruction and the Greens share the same vision of a nuclear free Scotland outwith the nuclear club Nato."
Patrick Harvie MSP, co-convenor of the Scottish Greens, said: "As a popular local councillor, Frances will be a huge asset to the Greens as we expand across Scotland, particularly in North Lanarkshire where our membership has more than quadrupled."
