EMPLOYERS are being given support to help staff quit smoking.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is running a free awareness event for firms on January 16.
Smoking cessation teams will be on hand to inform employers of the initiatives in place to support workers.
They will also be invited to take part in NHSGGC's annual Quit and Win campaign which begins on "No Smoking Day" March 13 and runs for 12 weeks.
To book a place at next month's event at the Skills Academy, 99 Norfolk Street, Glasgow, call 0141 314 0024 or email mariam.abbas@ggc.scot.nhs.uk
