LEADING charity Cancer Support Scotland is launching an appeal for more local volunteers and fundraisers.
The charity, which more than trebled the number of people it was able to help last year, is aiming to raise more cash in 2014, so it can support even more patients with cancer.
The charity's chief executive, Colin Graham, said he hoped when people were making their New Year resolutions they would consider lending their support.
Mr Graham said: "Many people use New Year to make changes to their lives and we would like to encourage them to do that by helping us to help others."
