AN appeal has been launched to help find a woman who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Police are searching for Victoria Kennedy, 29, who was last seen by her mother on Tuesday, January 22, in a Glasgow bar.

They were in the Scotia Bar in Stockwell Street – her mother left the bar and hasn't heard from Victoria since.

Victoria is described as white, around 5 ft 10in with long dark hair. She was wearing a long, black full-length coat with a fur-lined hood, black knee-length boots and light coloured blue jeans.

Extensive inquiries are under way and it's believed she may have been in the Elderslie area last Thursday.

However, there have been no more reported sightings. It is unusual for Victoria not to be in contact with her family for such a long period of time and they are growing very concerned.

Sergeant Stephen McCulloch from Cathcart Police Office, said: "Victoria's family are obviously very concerned about her wellbeing and want to know that she is safe and well. We are currently checking CCTV and have been speaking to several of Victoria's friends in an effort to trace her.

"However, our inquiries so far have proved unsuccessful.

"I would appeal to anyone who has any knowledge or information about Victoria or her whereabouts to please get in touch with us."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cathcart Police Office on 0141 532 4900.
