Appeal over crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman died the day after a minor crash in a supermarket car park.

The 45-year-old woman became unwell the evening following the incident, which happened at around 11.15am las Thursday in Morrison's in Greenock, and died in hospital the following day.

She was a passenger in a blue Renault Clio which was in collision with a blue Niassan Qasqai.

Police want to speak to a taxi driver who was behind the Nissan Qashqai, as he may have information that could help the enquiry.

Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Steven Gillard of the Divisional Road Policing or his colleagues at Renfrew Police Office on 0141 532 6155.
