A GLASGOW boxer is preparing for his first professional fight this weekend.
Joe Ham, from the Gorbals, is a first year adult apprentice joiner with leading Scottish construction company City Building.
The 23-year-old represented Scotland at the Delhi 2010 and Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
He will make his professional debut tomorrow at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel.
Joe will be will be supported by his workmates from City Building.
He said: "I've always wanted to make sure that I had a career to fall back on if my boxing career didn't work out.
"City Building have been great to me, giving me the opportunity to combine my dreams of being a professional boxer with learning my trade as a joiner".
