A MAN has been arrested over the theft of a rare car worth almost £50,000.
The purple Nissan Skyline, said to be one of only around 20 of its kind in the UK, was stolen last Wednesday from outside a house in Livingston, West Lothian, and found in London the following day.
Police alerted forces across the UK to look out for car and it was recovered by the Metropolitan Police.
A 31-year-old man has now been arrested and charged over the theft.
He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
