A CURRY house in East Kilbride has reached the final of a competition to find the UK's best South Asian restaurant.
Asha's Tandoori is one of 13 national finalists in the prestigious Tiffin Cup competition.
The grand final is to be held in the House of Commons on Wednesday, June 27.
The Tiffin Cup winner is chosen from a list of restaurants that have been nominated by local MPs.
The Asha was nominated by Michael McCann, the Labour MP for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow.
He said: "I am delighted that Asha's Tandoori has made it to the final.
"I will be there on 27 June to cheer on owner Amiy Singh."
The competition will be judged by celebrity chefs Ainsley Harriott and Ken Hom.
