A CONVICTED sex attacker raped a woman in her home while wearing an electronic tag.
Alexander Gallagher was freed on bail after being charged with breaking a sex-offences order. Five days later he pounced on the 34- year-old woman.
Gallagher had earlier been released from a 10-year jail term for rape.
The 41-year-old denied the latest attack but a jury convicted him at a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
He now faces a life sentence when he returns to the dock in November.
Prosecutors asked for a risk assessment on Gallagher which could see him hit with an Order for Lifelong Restriction.
